Bad weather...

...not so good observations!
Yesterday and today we make the trips under a fresh wind, waves and a poor visibility. The result, well dolphins! Common dolphins making our days. Souht of água de Pau, a very large group. Always interested on the boats. Could be worst!

IN BLUE...AGAIN!

Today we realise only the morning trip. The wind is blowing from west, increasing. The sea with nice waves.
We went to the west side where the watcher in Ponta Garça saw a few dolphins.
On the way, the watcher of Água de Pau saw a blow and told us to change de direction. A little bit to the south we got a impressive blow and after a moment we had the chance to see a nice blue whale. Amazing color under the water and a huge and powerfull body. The whale dive and we stay in the area waiting for another one.
After 10 minutes, we detect another whale. Very calm on the surface. This time we had the chance to see the tale.
Another blow far away. But no whale. And them, the storm. A heavy rain and a strong wind finish our trip.
Everybody weat and happy.

And So The Story Goes....

After a few days of bad weather (winds around 100 km/h, finally we went out on Thursday afternoon to see a very large group of bottlenose dolphins, souht of Água de Pau.
Next day, Friday, with a nice sun and sea, we went to the east side to see a sei whale, a fast group of striped dolphins and the friendly common dolphins.
In the afternoon, we decide to go to the west and we had a nice group of bottlenose and them on the south of Relva, a large group of false killer whales. Beautifull, nice and calm.
Yesterday. we spend the day with the sperm whales, all day long.South of Água d'Alto. The usual familly, about 10 whales. In the afternoon, we saw a large male.
The regular common dolphins and a pod of risso's. Was a nice day spend out on the sea.
