Sperm whales, Sei whales and dolphins!

Today the island was under fog. We can't see anything. Sometimes we got rain also. Not ideal conditions to start our adventures. But we decided to take a chance. We no help from our "vigias", the watchers on land, we went to the South, just outside Ponta Delgada. A few minutes later we found a group of dolphins: common dolphins. No bad on the beginning of our trip. We leave the dolphins and decided to go more to the South. At this time the weather was better. The fog was gone. And the "vigias" start ther job: look for whales with the binoculars. At the same time one of our skippers and the watcher found the spray of whales: two Sei Whales. And just around...botlenose dolphins. Perfect! Everybody get happy on a day with poor conditions to discover cetaceans.
After the lunch and with a sunny day we went out again. But this time we know what to look for: different groups of Sperm Whales. We go again to the South. And the Sperm Whales were there. But more surprises come. We saw also the Sei Whales again and Common Dolphins. Good day!

Nice day!

Today the morning trip it was wonderful...the sperm whales appears with no fear and very kind, we have the opportunity to saw two different animals and their tails...really close to our boats! After that we saw a large group of bottlenose dolphins, our lovely resident species...they are socializing and approach the boat to...it was really good for the pictures, the ocean was calm and the dolphins to...perfect morning with lot of pictures and movies!
In the afternoon it was more difficult to find the resident dolphins...when we find them, they are not so kind like during the morning trip...we saw firstly the common dolphins and then a small group of bottlenose dolphins! But the weather helps...we had a wonderful sunny afternoon, and everyone enjoy the trip...

Last days...sunny days!

Sunday:
Only dolphins…
Yesterday, ours best friends were the dolphins! As wind takes the flowers petals, the wind yesterday took us the whales. A small group of dolphins were the heroes of the day. The common dolphins durind the morning trip and the bottlenose dolphins in the afternoon.

Monday:
The return!
They came back… ours redidents friends sperm whales! To satisfy the curiosity and the anxiety of some clients, today a sperm whales group decided to show up, although the wind, they appeared during the morning trip.
In the afternoon we saw a really nice and large group of common dolphin...today we had the nature in it best! Completely lovely!!!
