This morning we went out on our second tour for this month. March has started a little slow for us due to strong winds the past few days. Luckily this morning it was ok to go out, and conditions are looking to improve over the next few days. Although the waves were still a bit big we had great visibility with clear blue skies. On this trip we saw several groups of common dolphins and a small loggerhead turtle. We were hoping to also see the arrival of some migratory baleen whales, but it looks like we have to wait a little longer. Any day now we can expect the appearance of our first baleen whales that migrate through the Azores this time of the year. In the meantime we are still enjoying seeing playful groups of common dolphins that have been observed on almost 100% of our recent tours.
