Nice day at sea with common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins and beaked whales

Today we went out in the morning and afternoon. The wind and the sea calmed down and we enjoyed two very nice trips. In the morning we went out with one of our zodiac boats and we traveled to the east of the island to try to view some dolphins that our vigia (onshore lookout) had spotted for us. First we saw a small group of very calm common dolphins, but quickly we left the area and continued the trip to the east to spot another group of dolphins our lookout spotted. It was a group of bottlenose dolphins that were very active and curious. We saw some spectacular jumps! After this, we saw two beaked whales, an adult and a juvenile. They were identified to be Blainville's beaked whales. In the afternoon, we traveled to the west and saw several groups of common dolphins feeding.
