An Azorean summer's day with dolphins

Today is a perfect day in São Miguel with not a cloud in the sky. As usual for this time of the year we are busy running whale watching tours and swimming with dolphins. In the start of the morning our vigia on the coastline spotted a baleen whale, probably a Bryde's whale. Unfortunately we couldn't reach the area of the fast-travelling whale in time so we had to give up our pursuit. Instead we had a lovely  day with Atlantic spotted dolphins and common dolphins. Throughout the day we saw many groups including several feedings groups that were seen together with Cory's shearwaters. Our clients that were swimming with dolphins in the morning also had the luck of seeing tuna during their dolphin observation.
