Snorkeling in Vila Franca Islet

During the summer months Futurismo offers a "Full Day Tour" which is basically a whole day of fun related to the ocean. In the morning we go out on one of our regular whale watching tours and following this we go to Vila Franca do Campo for lunch. The lunch is in a local restaurant in the marina where you have the choice of several freshly caught fish from that day. After lunch we go to Vila Franca Islet where you have the opportunity to snorkel in the lagoon inside the islet (masks and snorkels are provided). The islet is a natural reserve where fishing is not allowed, so there are always plenty of fish species to see, some of which are brightly coloured and not camera shy.
