Whale waiting turned into whale watching

This morning we had a difficult tour of whale watching. We started travel directly to an area where our lookout spotted two sperm whales. We arrived a little bit late to see these whales. The visibility worsened becausse of rain, so we waited several minutes to try to see these whales. After a while, and fortunately, we ourspotted a wonderful pod of bottlenose dolphins with babies. We were already on a way back to Ponta Delgada, one hour and ten minutes after the whales had last dived when one of our skippers spotted the sperm whales on the surface again! In the end it was it was a one hour and twenty minutes wait, but it was well worth it. We saw Mr. Liable (one of the most sighted male of sperm whales here in São Miguel). It was a whale waiting trip that turned into a fantastic whale watching trip. In the afternoon we resighted Mr. Liable and we still had time to see bottlenose dolphins and Atlantic spotted dolphins. Additionally, those on our swimming boat swam with common dolphins.
