Azorean dolphins

Today started a little grey and cloudy, but the clouds soon parted during the morning and we ended up with another lovely day spent well with dolphins. In the morning we all encountered common dolphins and bottlenose dolphins and one of our boats also encountered a small group of Atlantic spotted dolphins further offshore. In the afternoon we encountered the bottlenose dolphins again (this time in a tight social group, displaying many jumps and giving some great swimming opportunities to those of us that had the luck of doing this activity) and we also encountered some common dolphins further along the coast. We finished the afternoon tour by passing Vila Franca Islet and enjoying some coastal views on our way back in to Ponta Delgada.
