Today we left early as we knew rain was on its way but we had fin whales not far from the coast and of course we all wanted to see them. On the way out we passed a few common dolphins but we did not stop as we had bigger things to see. When we arrived to the whale area we could see blows by the other boats but we saw blows a little more to the west and we ended up alone with two fin whales; a adult and juvenile. The juvenile thought he was a dolphin and started being very curious swimming towards us. It turned right in front of us and "bowrided" our catamaran for a while. Such unique experience. Then the rain came and we had to start going back. Some hot tea was a great finish to the tour back in our office.
