Today we went out on a sea full of waves, wind and dolphins. We started with a small group of common dolphins that did some quick bowriding but we left the for more dolphins. More inshore with a calmer sea we had a group of bottlenose dolphins that we regocnised right away by their dorsal fins. But soon we started to see a lot smaller dolphins around them to and we had a mix of common dolphins and bottlenose dolphins. We see this once in a while, different species interacting with each other, often searching for the same fish. On the way back we also spotted a few baby flying fish. The clients aboard our other boat Quatro ventos were also lucky to briefly see a fin whale after a lot of searching for it. These lucky clients were the only ones to see the fin whale as later it dissapeared and was not seen again. In the afternoon we went both swimming and whale watching. We started with the same group of bottlenose dolphins but they were not to interested in us but still they came to pay us a visit and we made eye-contact with them. Later we met a group of common dolphins jumping and leaping out of the water - perfect for photos - and they had lots of new born babies. A lovely sight.
