Some pictures of today's sightings! In the morning some of us enjoyed the company of common dolphins and for all of us there was also a family of sperm whales, including calves. During the afternoon tour we all encountered the common dolphins, but we were not so lucky with the whales. When sperm whales are resting or socialising they can stay in the same area for a long time, but when they are searching for food or travelling they can travel long distances and swim in bursts at speeds of up to 40 km/h.
