During the summer months we offer a full-day tour which consists of whale watching in the morning followed by lunch in Vila Franca and snorkeling in Vila Franca islet in the afternoon. Some species you can snorkel with in and around Vila Franca Islet are: white seabream (Diplodus sargus), mullets (fam: Mugilidae, gen: Mugil, Chelon and Liza) for example the thicklip grey mullet (Chelon labrosus), goldline (Sarpa salpa), parrot fish (Sparisoma cretense), blue damsel fish (Abudefduf luridus), guinean pufferfish (Sphoeroidees marmoratus) and several species of wrasse (Halichoeres ornatissimus, Coris julis, Thalassoma pavo, Labrus mixtus, Symphodus mediterraneus and more), blenny (Lipophrys trigloides, Parablennius incognitus, Parablennius ruber, Coryphoblennius galerita) and goby (Gobius paganellus, Thorogobius ephippiatus).
