The Big Five happen in Pico Island! Whales, whales and more whales...

In Pico Island today we had something special: The Big Five! We had a rare tour where we could see Blue whale, Fin whale, sei whale, humpback whale and Sperm whale! What an awesome experience for our normal 3-hour tour! This is something unique that happens only once in a while. 

In São Miguel island, in the morning, we saw a mommy fin whale with her baby always side by side and a very nice and big pod of bottlenose dolphins. In the afternoon also a fin whale, but this time only one and very big! The pod of bottlenose dolphins was very curious in the afternoon.
