Dolphins with babies, sperm whales and a Bryde's whale in whale watching tours in the Azores

Today was an adventure day in São Miguel Island. In the morning we were with a nice group of bottlenose dolphins along with plenty of babies. We also saw a group of common dolphins

In the afternoon the sea was rougher but we were able to see a group of Atlantic spotted dolphins, a loggerhead turtle, and 3 sperm whales. After all, it was a great whale watching day!

Today in Pico Island we had a morning with pilot whales. It was a nice group. In the afternoon, we saw the same group of pilot whales and a group of Risso’s dolphins and Bottlenose dolphins. We also encountered a Bryde's whale, known as the tropical whale because it is the only baleen whale species that live year-round in warmer tropical waters.
